Well many PlayStation members were not able to login for a quite some of days. It has been reported that a hacker (still unidentified) has breached Sony's network and as a result Sony has shut down their network because of the intrusion. Their is also some word on credit card information being stolen such as your card number, and expiration date of your card. As for your PlayStation account name and login information, that was also obtained by the hacker. I am a playstion member and I also am affected by this. My advice to people who have an account with PlayStation network I advise you to change your password once the network goes back up. As far as credit card information, canceling your card is one way do avoid theft. Checking your bank statements and emails are just some ways to check to see if your credit card information has been stolen.
I'm pretty sure Sony will take the necessary steps to get the network back up and running, but thats not the main concern. The main concern is what happens to all of my personal information?
